Hello, I'm
Camille Hoy.
↓
Studying people and building the research infrastructure that turns that understanding into something an organization can act on.
What drives the work is belief — how it forms, what sustains it, what moves it. Not opinion as a data point, but conviction as something that develops over time, under pressure, inside a life.
I'm drawn to questions that don't fully resolve — where the data surfaces something that earns the next question, and the next shift in the world makes it worth asking again.
Good research holds until the world shifts. I build for both.
About
The best insights come from actually wanting to know.
Four years at Ipsos Public Affairs managing 50+ annual research programs for Google, Mastercard, Pew Research Center, AARP, CDC, and the World Bank. Consumer behavior, brand health, public opinion, policy, and emerging technology — across markets, methodologies, and datasets ranging from 100K to 500K responses.
I design the research, run the programs, and deliver the findings. End-to-end, across concurrent studies, for clients who need the work to actually land. NLP and AI pipelines I've built have reduced reporting time by 40 to 50 percent on recurring programs. Research I've led has been cited in Reuters, ABC News, and The Washington Post.
The populations I study: consumers, voters, patients, caregivers, early adopters, business owners, policymakers, investors, and frontline workers. The thread across all of it is the same — understanding what people actually believe, and why.
How I work
Survey design and sampling methodology. Quantitative and qualitative execution. A/B testing, MaxDiff, regression analysis. SPSS, SQL, Python, NLP pipelines. AI-assisted workflows that scale output without compressing rigor.
Translating ambiguous business, marketing, and emerging tech questions into well-scoped research problems. Pressure-testing assumptions before they get baked into design. Surfacing patterns across markets, identifying the exceptions that change the interpretation, and integrating across data sources to develop perspectives that no single study produces alone. Every deliverable is shaped for its audience, from analyst teams to executive leadership.
End-to-end ownership across concurrent programs. Briefing design, RFP management, agency onboarding, vendor coordination, milestone planning, compliance, and stakeholder reporting. I lead the operating rhythm across priorities, timelines, and organizations. It's how good research actually reaches the people who need it.
Tools I built
Research moves at the speed of the systems behind it. These tools came out of needs I identified on the ground.
001
Data Visualization
Cross Stab Studio
The need: Raw data exports were eating hours of manual formatting before anything useful could be delivered.
A workflow tool for reformatting raw survey data and market research exports into clean, executive-ready formats including media releases, updated Excel tables, and client-ready outputs.
Reduced reporting time from several weeks to a few days.
002
Research Intelligence
Signal Streams
The need: Institutional knowledge was getting buried between program waves and study design was starting from scratch each time.
A research intelligence tool for tracking policy, economic signals, and political polling. Features a live ingestion queue with QC workflow, a unified source encyclopedia, and on-demand synthesis output.
Faster, better-informed study design across every program.
003
Operations Infrastructure
Research Ops Organizer
The need: Running 50+ concurrent programs with no single source of truth for milestones, deliverables, or compliance.
A Notion-based program management system that tracks concurrent research studies, vendor touchpoints, compliance requirements, and team capacity in one place.
50+ concurrent programs. Nothing dropped.
